Yes! We offer full snorkeling instruction. We also require that every person on the tour wear a life jacket during the snorkeling portions of the tour. Beginning snorkelers are welcome. You'll feel comfortable floating while you're watching for sea turtles.
What is included with this guided snorkeling tour in St. John?
Your tour includes a snorkel and mask, life jacket, full safety briefing, and in-water snorkeling instruction. All equipment is provided unless you choose to bring your own. This experience is perfect for beginners and seasoned snorkelers alike.
What should I bring for the Snorkel With Sea Turtles – St. John tour?
Bring a bathing suit, towel, and sun protection like a hat, sunglasses, and reef-safe sunscreen. If you have your own snorkel gear, feel free to bring it. A refillable water bottle is also recommended for staying hydrated during your tour.
What are the meeting point options for this St. John snorkeling tour?
Your meeting location depends on the booking option you selected:
- If you selected the option with transport included: Please meet at 9:30 AM at Mongoose Junction to be outfitted with your gear. You’ll hop in a transport for a scenic 20-minute ride to Maho Bay.
- If you selected the option without transport: Please meet your guide at 9:50 AM at the Maho Bay Taxi parking lot, directly next to Maho Crossroads restaurant (near the food trucks). Look for your Virgin Islands Ecotours guide in a branded shirt waiting by the taxi stand.
What is your cancellation policy?
Your booking is fully refundable if canceled at least 24 hours before your tour.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour start time or no-shows are non-refundable.
Tours operate rain or shine (with the exception of lightning). In the rare case that weather prevents us from running the tour, we will gladly provide a full refund.
Do you offer private tours?
Yes! You can now upgrade any eligible tour to a private experience for just a $99 flat fee. This “Private Tour Upgrade” can be selected during online checkout—just look for the Flat Fee – Private Tour Upgrade option when booking your tour. Private tours are available any day except Wednesdays.
